    Delivery Service up and Running

Our delivery service, with priority given to isolated elderly, disabled and people who find it difficult to shop for fruit, veg, flowers and herbs, has been funded by Awards 4 All for one year. We believe the delivery service will become self funding before the year is up. CCOG's aim is to provide as many of our community with our fresh, healthy, organic produce. We currently sell our produce from the garden and our monthly Farmer's Market and felt we should reach out to people who could not buy from our two sales outlets. We felt a delivery service would fill this gap and with this in mind we were granted funding from Community Food and Health Scotland, the regular use of a delivery van from Rob Stewart (Kintyre Konnect), with D McNairs and Build Base support and an excellent volunteer driver in Sandra our 3 month pilot study was carried out. The results were overwhelmingly in favour of providing the delivery service and Awards 4 All provided the funding to enable Sandra to manage the delivery service over the coming year. If you would like to know more please contact Sandra on 07510179394 or Chris on 07825613683.

New!  - Fresh, seasonal, organic garden produce delivered to your door

We are starting a 3 month pilot study, delivering fresh, community garden produce to those who find difficulty in shopping for their fresh fruit, veg and herbs. We have been granted funding to pilot a scheme which aims to provide one area of the support needed to help isolated elderly and disabled people remain living independently within their own home. We are looking to deliver our seasonal community garden produce to those finding it difficult, for whatever reason, to shop for these items themselves. Although our prime aim is the isolated elderly and disabled, your age will not exclude you from our delivery service. We are currently compiling a list of possible customers and if you, or someone you know, could benefit from our delivery service please contact Sandra on 07510179394.
